Magnesium Chocolate Bark πΏπ«
A simple, crunchy chocolate treat topped with magnesium-rich nuts, seeds and dried fruit. The toppings are completely customisable, so feel free to swap them for your favourites.

Ingredients
For the chocolate bark
1 bar Lindt 70% Dark Chocolate
2 cups Hershey’s Dark Chocolate Chips
For the toppings
½ cup cashews, roughly chopped
¼ cup goji berries
¼ cup pumpkin seeds
2 tbsp flaxseeds
A pinch of salt
The toppings are optional and can be adjusted to your preference. You can also substitute them with other nuts, seeds or dried fruits.
Directions
1. Melt the chocolate
Break the dark chocolate bar into smaller pieces and place it in a heatproof bowl together with the chocolate chips.
Place the bowl over a pot of simmering water, making sure the bottom of the bowl does not touch the water. Gently stir until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth. Do not let the water boil.
2. Add your toppings
Once the chocolate has melted, stir in some of the cashews, goji berries, pumpkin seeds and flaxseeds, leaving a little of each aside for topping later.
Mix gently until the toppings are evenly distributed throughout the chocolate.
3. Spread it out
Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Pour the chocolate mixture onto the tray and spread it into an even layer using a spatula or the back of a spoon.
4. Finish with the toppings
Sprinkle the remaining cashews, goji berries, pumpkin seeds and flaxseeds over the top. Finish with a small pinch of salt.
5. Freeze
Place the tray in the freezer for 20 minutes, or until the chocolate has completely set.
6. Break & enjoy
Once firm, remove the chocolate bark from the tray and break it into bite-sized pieces.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and enjoy chilled. π«πΏ
Make It Your Own
Don't have all the toppings? No problem. The toppings are completely optional — you can mix and match based on what you have at home. Try other nuts, seeds or dried fruits such as almonds, peanuts, chia seeds, sunflower seeds or raisins for your own twist.
